This wonderfully decorated hafted stone axe was originally found at Kopanga, which lays on the western bank of the Blyth river in Arnhemland. It was once sold through Maningrida Arts and Crafts. The piece itself is from the beginning of the 20th cent. and later on at around 1970 been ceremonially painted by Tommy Gundurro.
